About Us

The California Mineral Education Foundation (CMEF), a charitable, non-profit education corporation, was founded in 1991 to develop and administer mineral education programs for K-12 teachers.  CMEF is operated exclusively for educational purposes. 


The California Mineral Education Foundation, governed by a twelve member Board of Directors, and administered by a managing director, maintains an office in Sacramento, California.   The Board of Directors urges you to contact the CMEF office for further information about the Foundation and its activities.
